April's Toxin-Free Beauty Picks
My Toxin-Free Beauty Faves This Month.
It's been a while since I ran through my toxin-free beauty favorites (pretty sure the last one was SEPTEMBER, can you believe it?!). As more people are beginning to learn about the dangerous chemicals used in every day products and the effect they have on their bodies, there are more amazing products on the market! SAFE ones- hooray! That being said, here are my top picks for this month.
Moisturizer: Luckey Thirteen Radiance Serum
This facial serum uses only certified organic ingredients and is truly ALL NATURAL. This serum was made to hydrate skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promote elasticity, minimize pores, act as a natural toner with its antiseptic properties, renew and repair skin cells, promote a healthy skin pH, help clear and prevent acne, lessen the appearance of age spots and help reverse sun damage-- all while creating an overall radiant appearance for skin.
Great for: EVERYONE!
Cleanser: Organic Rosehip Oil
Certified organic rosehip oil has been a game changer for my skin! I use this as a cleanser and make-up remover. Simply massage the oil into your skin and wash off with hot water and a face cloth! Such an affordable and amazing way to cleanse your skin.
Great for: Everyone! I have dry skin and it works very well with my complexion.
Foundation: Gressa MINIMALIST Corrective Serum Foundation
Hands down the best foundation I have ever used. This beats all toxic AND non-toxic foundations that I have tried. It’s a serum and a foundation in one, so it’s great for your skin, as well as providing a solid coverage. It may be a little pricey, but it's so worth it and lasts forever.
Great for: Those of you who like a good base coverage. I have dry skin and it works very well with my complexion.
Contour Palette: Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Duo
This Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo by Lily Lolo creates a flawless, beautifully defined and contoured canvas and casts your features in their best light. I love how handy it is to have both my bronzer and highlight in a small little palette. Great for travel!
Great for: Those of you who want to define your face in a natural, beautiful way (without all the junk).
Blush: Antonym Baked Blush
Antonym Baked Blush gives such a natural radiance to your cheeks for an instant, youthful glow. It's highly pigmented which I love as you only have to use a small amount to get a good flush.
Great for: Those who like a bright, cheery look. Great for everyday wear!
Body Wash: Aleavia Enzymatic Body Cleanse
OBSESSED. I recently discovered this company and I'm hooked. What is so unique about this company is that their skincare products contain prebiotics to feed the skin's beneficial bacteria. It stabilizes pH and combats body odor, as well as replenishing and smoothing the skin. So affordable for the quality and lasts forever!
Great for: Those of you looking for new ways to detoxify and protect your skin.
