Everyday Calm & Collective Essential Oils Blend

There are many essential oils that we love to use in our home for different reasons. 

I actually first made this blend to support my brother Billy, who has autism. When we had slow internet connection for a week, Billy began to panic and very soon that week was referred to as the worst of his life. He was very stressed by the incident and not much seemed to help calm him down as he couldn't watch any of his videos, which typically help him relax.

Except this calming blend, which when rolled down his spine and used in massage therapy was extremely helpful in soothing his anxiousness and stress.

I keep this blend in my purse now just in case I'm ever faced with a stressful situation when out and about. It contains some of my favorite oils for mood improvement; Lavender, Frankincense, Vetiver and Wild Orange.

Lavender: Calms the mind and body, can help with neurological issues, promotes sleep and fights brain oxidation.

Frankincense: Supports healthy, normal neurological development, has been shown to reduce stress and nervousness; also shown to reduce heart rate and to balance blood pressure.

Wild Orange: Energizing and revitalizing, great for mood. Also contains powerful antioxidants and helps support the immune system.

Vetiver: Decreases jitteriness, calms the nervous system, has a tranquil and grounding energy.

Billy’s Calm Day Blend

Ingredients:

Lavender Oil

Frankincense Oil

Wild Orange Oil

Vetiver Oil

Method:

Add 10 drops each of lavender, frankincense, wild orange and vetiver oil into a roller bottle. Fill the rest of the roller with carrier oil. 

(Plant Therapy has an awesome and affordable coconut oil carrier that stays liquid at room temp!)

To use:

For fast use roll on back of the neck, if you have more time then roll down the spine and on the bottom of the feet. You can also use this blend in massage therapy, or diffuse.
