Homemade Nutella (Paleo, Dairy-Free, Refined Sugar Free)
Make your own healthy vegan Nutella (there's even a keto option). Free from dairy and refined-sugar but equally as delicious as the store bought brand.
Does anyone else born in the '90s remember when they tried to convince us Nutella was healthy? They played on the fact it had "healthy nuts" and REAL MILK.

I used to be addicted to the stuff as a young girl. On toast, by the spoonful, it didn't matter it was that delicious. If it wasn't so terrible for you I'd still be eating it by the spoonful now.
Who'd have thought it's so simple to make your own Nutella? Literally put all of the ingredients into a blender, blend on high and you have yourself some smooth, creamy, and delicious chocolate hazelnut spread. Feel free to use whatever sweetener you like best to make it compliant with your lifestyle.
Spread it, spoon it, dip it, whatever you fancy!
1 cup hazelnuts (best results if toasted and husked)
1 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/3 cup sweetener of choice (we used maple syrup)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of salt
1) Add hazelnuts to your food processor and blend on high power until smooth.
2) Add salt, cacao powder, coconut oil and vanilla extract and pulse again.
3) Add sweetener and blend to form a paste. You can add some warm water if you feel it needs.
4) Pour nutella mixture into a glass jar and store in the fridge. Yum!
