Naturally Curated: A Subscription Box Review

Looking for a great subscription box filled with natural products? Meet Naturally Curated, the ultimate subscription box for the crunchy lady.

Out of the 2,000 or so subscription boxes offered in the US, only a small percentage have all organic and/or eco-friendly products that I trust to use every day. I went searching for the perfect subscription box for me. Something that fit the following criteria:

  • Organic, all-natural or toxin-free products
  • Eco-Friendly packaging
  • Full-size products
  • Flexibility to input what my preferences are

This box ticked all those requirements and more. Plus, the company founder strives always to support local businesses, and that is something I can always jump on board with.

With that being said, here is my full review of the Naturally Curated winter box...

About the Company:

Naturally Curated chooses seasonal, functional, and fun products each quarter to put into an exciting subscription box. They are highly selective and only include items that are natural, organic, eco-friendly, or top notch when it comes to quality.  What’s cool is that prior to ordering, they collect feedback from our you and send you products based on your preferences.  The box will include 5-7 full-size products, each quarter.  This is not like other subscription boxes you may be used to; this is not a box of samples, or advertisements.

Cost & Shipping:

Pay box-to-box:

$75 per box

+ $10 shipping and handling per box

One Year Prepay:

$70 per box

+ $7.25 shipping and handling per box

How adorable is this packaging? One of my favorite things about Naturally Curated is the clear thought, time and effort that goes into making each individual box of goodies.

Now for the part you are probably all waiting for… What’s in the box?

Calming Room Mist

I loved this organic room mist- it smells amazing and is hand-made with carefully selected essential oil blends. The room mist is formulated to be calming, immune boosting, and uplifting.

Goat Milk Moisturizer

Ooh, this one is my favorite. This goat milk moisturizer is amazing made with fresh goats milk (duh) and special ingredients such as organic perilla seed oil, one of the most powerful asian herbs in the world. It smells divine and makes your skin silky smooth.

Seasonal Organic Pillow

These organic pillows are hand-crafted in the United States. The artist illustrates and then screen prints these fun and nostalgic scenes using plant-based dyes. Choose between brown pinecone, red station wagon, green Christmas trees, and brown deer. All pillow covers are shipped without inserts, so you can switch out your seasonal covers.

Hot Cocoa & Handmade Marshmallows

The perfect winter gift, a bag of organic hot cocoa with homemade peppermint marshmallows.

And so much more! The box also included cozy boot socks, an organic pillow cover, all-natural room mist, elderberry ingredient mix, pumpkin pie spice, and a booklet with lots of extra info about all the products.

What I love most about this box is that EVERYTHING is high-quality, whether it be organic, eco-friendly, or both. Although this may appear more pricey than your typical monthly box, you are getting full-sized, toxin-free products on a quarterly basis resulting in a definite money save (and all my crunchy friends know how expensive our natural products are!)

Beef Bulgogi Bowls

Makes 2 Large Bowls

1 lb. grass-fed rib eye or sirloin steak

2 tablespoons cooking oil of choice

2 tablespoons coconut aminos

2 tablespoons freshly minced garlic

1 tablespoon raw honey or sweetener of choice

2 stems of green onion, finely chopped

2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds

4 cups dark leafy greens

2 cups roasted broccoli

3 large carrots, roasted

3 cups cauliflower rice

Homemade Mayo

+ hot sauce (to taste)

= spicy mayo!

1) To make the roasted vegetables, throw frozen broccoli and carrots onto a baking sheet, drizzle in cooking oil of choice, salt and pepper, and roast in the oven at 375F for 30 minutes or so. Remove and set aside.

2) Place the steaks in a large bowl with coconut aminos, minced garlic, raw honey, salt and pepper. Let marinate for 10-30 minutes.

3) In a large skillet, add cooking oil and saute the steaks (along with sauce) over medium high heat or until the steak is medium-well done.

4) Set the beef aside and slice into thin pieces.

5) Using the same pan, heat up your cauliflower rice in the skillet until piping hot.

5) To each bowl, add 2 cups of greens. Top greens with 1-2 carrots, 1 cup roasted broccoli, 1 1/2 cups cauliflower rice, 1/2 lb of steak and chopped green onion. Add a dollop of spicy mayo on the side, sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy!
